SSi Consulting Training Class Policies

Payment, Terms, and Conditions

Payment must be made prior to attending class.  Online registration via credit card is available. All classes are offered according to SSi Consulting’s Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale. 

Cancellation

If you cancel your confirmed class registration, you must notify SSi Consulting immediately in order to obtain a full or partial refund of tuition, according to the following schedule:

• 100% refund if cancelled at least 10 calendar days prior to the first day of class
• 50% refund if cancelled at least 5 calendar days prior to the first day of class
• 25% refund if cancelled prior to the first day of class
• No refund if cancelled on the first of class, or if you do not show up for the class.

Rescheduling a Class

If you cannot attend a confirmed scheduled class, but wish to take a future class, you must notify SSi Consulting immediately in order to apply your tuition to a future class. You will be subject to a 25% rescheduling fee if you reschedule less than 5 days prior to the first day of class.

Cancellation by SSi Consulting

Classes are subject to cancellation. If cancelled, all tuition will be refunded, or applied to another class according to your preference. SSi Consulting is not responsible for non-refundable airline tickets or other travel expenses incurred due to cancellation.

Inclement Weather

If Baltimore County Schools open 2 hours late or are closed due to snow or inclement weather the training class will be cancelled as well, and the registration fee will be refunded, or optionally you will receive priority accommodation for the next available class.  Listen for school cancellations or delays on WBAL 1090 AM.

Substitution

Substitution of students is allowed at no charge.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not 100% satisfied with our training class, SSi Consulting will refund the full cost of the class.

Other Policies

• Cell phones must be turned off or muted during class.  If your office or family needs to contact you while attending a class, they should call 1-800-886-3369 and press 0 to reach the receptionist. 
• The dress for class is casual. Please keep in mind that the class is conducted in an air conditioned room, so a removable sweater or jacket is recommended. In the afternoon, the room tends to heat up with the computers running.
• You should arrive for class at least 15 minutes prior to class time. There will be a one hour lunch break and several short breaks throughout the day.
• Lunch is included in the tuition fee!  If you have special dietary needs, please let us know at least 10 calendar days prior to the start of class.  If you wish to bring your lunch, a microwave and refrigerator are available for your use.
• The use of audio or video recorders is not permitted. 
• You will be notified if your training qualifies for CPE/CEU Credits.
• The closest hotel to our Baltimore Training Center is the Best Western at 1800 Belmont Avenue, 410-265-1400.  We will provide free transportation to and from the hotel to our training center if requested.
• A list of hotels close to our Virginia Training Center is available upon request.
